My fitness story has run the gamut with quite a bit of diversity. I've been a fairly active person for most of my life, with some stages of my life being more active than others. I've been involved in fitness since my teens, but I've also had stages in my life where I've dealt with medical issues, surgery, injuries, physical therapy, and weight gain.
My fitness journey has not been a straight path by any means. I've had a lot of ups and downs while learning a lot along the way. Then came the time I decided to get serious about losing weight and getting fit again by putting my knowledge to work for me. I feel so much better as fitness has become a permanent way of life for me now.
In addition to helping myself get back in shape (and stay in shape), I have the knowledge, experience, and desire to help others do the same. As I started sharing my knowledge and helping others, others started encouraging me to be a personal trainer/fitness coach. I tried to avoid that direction for a time, but soon realized it was meant to be. I have a passion for fitness, and a passion for helping others. So I guess it only makes sense for me to put the two together.
Because my story is much too long for a single blog post when all of the various details are filled in, I'll let you discover more of that along the way in other posts and videos as time goes on. In the meantime, if you'd like to know a bit more about my coaching and how I can help you get and stay fit, shoot me a message via my contact link. I'd love to hear from you.
